Swiss artist Thierry Feuz’s lacquer paintings are a dramatic experimentation with materials. Typical of his unorthodox style he executes all his paintings in glossy paint and uses strong colors as an aesthetically form-shaping, space-creating, evocative technique. An elegant equilibrium of color and layering form fantasy meanderings with seemingly no spatial limits. This explosive combination of mixed media celebrates life forms and leave the viewer to decide whether they are looking at something imagined or real, benign or dangerous. The artist’s radical gestures of abstraction allow him to expand and to re-imagine what the eye can see. The resulting technicolor images are extraordinary explorations into life and organic material in an enchanter's fascinating process of creation.
