BOCA RATON, Fla.—Rosenbaum Contemporary will present new and classic work by Robert Indiana in an exhibition from Feb. 9 through March 2, 2012. The exhibition will open with a reception on Feb. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery in Boca Raton, Fla.
Robert Indiana is among the world’s most revered living artists with works included in the permanent collections of more than 30 museums including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He is best known for his iconic LOVE series which inspired the Beatles’ song, “All You Need is Love” as well as his HOPE series, begun in 2008, which includes a monumental sculpture featured at that year’s Democratic National Convention. The Rosenbaum Contemporary exhibition will feature the premiere of new works from the HOPE and ALPHABET series as well as classic works from the LOVE series.
