Dirk De Bruycker’s paintings are on view through January 10 in our Boca Raton gallery. Educated in printmaking through the printmaking department at the University of New Mexico Albuquerque and the prestigious Tamarind Institute, De Bruycker has developed a unique process of painting using asphalt, cobalt drier, gesso and oil on cotton duck canvas. He is a part recipient of a Visual Arts Fellowship Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and a Visual Artists Work Grant from the Flemish Executive Department of Museum and Visual Arts. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections in Belgium and the United States including the Ministry of Visual Arts in Brussels, Belgium; the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico; the Bellagio Collection in Las Vegas, Nevada; and the Hallmark Collection in Kansas City, Missouri.
