The "Tracce di Universo" ("Traces of the Universe") series represents the search for universal centrality. The invisible perpendicular line that runs from the feet to the head of the sculpture opens a metaphysical path through three-dimensional physical sensation. Elements in green onyx recall Mother Earth, fragments alluding to spirit and creation as well as evolutionary transformation. They remind us that while we are an integral part of this physical universe, it is only through connecting with the ever persistent yet unknowable Meaning and Reality that our search will end in peace. The shiny steel base reflects the parallel universe that accompanies us, an intimacy of physicality and spirituality. Geometric lines create invisible forms that evolve beyond the sculpture. Signs of movement, around the solidity of the stone, refer to the ongoing seeking and finding of something beyond.
